I have always had a passion for teaching since I was young. I loved playing the role of the teacher and I knew that I could be a positive role model. I believe that all children have wonderful, creative minds that are capable of so much! My goal is to be a positive role model and to aid children not only in excelling in the classroom, but in the community. I have an older brother and sister that I love dearly. I grew up in Troy, Michigan my whole life and have participated in many fundraisers and city-wide events. I attended Troy High School and furthered my education while attending Oakland University (Go grizzlies!) in the area of Elementary Education, majoring in Language Arts and Social Studies. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, writing, and watching movies. I am so glad to be here at Madison-Carver Academy, teaching this wonderful fourth grade class. We truly are a family in Room 220 and I cannot wait to see my students show growth through engaging lessons and our character education program!

Enjoying a relaxing evening with my little cousins, John and Anthony! I love hearing all about what they are learning in school! It is always nice to hear such a positive outlook on education from a child!
