- Students are reading at their assigned level on this website. Students should be completing a book quiz after book they read (non-fiction and fiction). You are also able to check your child’s progress and actually see what skills they need to work on in reading. I highly recommend logging in and checking their progress on a regular basis! After a certain level is completely done, I will check the progress and move your child up to the next level. I cannot stress how important it is that your child is logging on once a day and at least completing two book quizzes a night.

*If your child is still having trouble logging on-Please contact me immediately! Again, please make sure the school name does not have "Academy" at the end and everything is spelled correctly (capitalized "m" and "c" in Madison-Carver)

- This website is required at home because it is now a part of homework packets. Weekly, I will be assigning folders (Lang Arts and Math) for students to complete. Coming shortly, students will have their previous NWEA score entered into the system and they will be working at their own pace. Students must be logging onto this website every day!! I will be checking their progress regularly and lesson module grades and assessments will be entered into the grade book for the remainder of the school year.
· IXL: www.ixl.com
- This is a free website that has interactive, online games that are organized by grade level and subject (Language Arts and Math). This is a great way for students to feel that learning is “fun” while they are developing certain skills that they need to work on in order to better show growth in fourth grade. This website allows for flexibility, in which you can actually search for a certain skill and subject!
· ReadWriteThink: www.readwritethink.org
- This website is great for parent access on how to better work with your student regarding reading strategies at home! You can explore this website by grade level for at-home activities if you have extra time on your hands!
Note: I also tell families all the time that Google is even a great tool! If you are looking for extra reading passages with comprehension questions, Google the genre you want to find and the grade level! You will be surprised with what comes up on the internet!
